ABOUT THE ART PRINT

- Printed locally outside Umeå on a 200 gram full matte, warm toned art paper with a light texture. The paper is called Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre and has a softer feel than a high white paper
- Delivered without frame
- 2 cm white border around the print
- Available in limited edition
- Available in size 50x40 cm
- Signed and stamped with an embossing press on the front of the print where it says which edition number it has.

The original is painted on a cotton canvas with transparent primer.
Colors used in the original:

- Soil picked from Baggböle, just outside Umeå
- Sand from the site as texture for the background
- Coal and ash from fireplace in Arboretum
- Acrylic paint
- Details with oil pastel

The painting is based on the location: Arboretum Norr, Baggböle

North and south of Baggböle Manor just outside the center of Umeå is Arboretum Norr, a forest garden with about 2800 different trees and shrubs. The site is beautifully situated with deciduous forest-covered slopes down towards Baggböleforsen on the north bank of the Umeälven River.

It is this place that I started from when I painted the painting "Forest Garden".
