ABOUT THE ART PRINT

- Printed locally outside Umeå on a 200 gram full matte, warm toned art paper with a light texture. The paper is called Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre and has a softer feel than a high white paper
- Delivered without frame
- 2 cm white border around the print
- Available in limited edition
- Available in size 50x40 cm
- Signed and stamped with an embossing press on the front of the print where it says which edition number it has.

The original is painted on a cotton canvas with transparent primer.
Colors used in the original:
- Stone picked around Tvärån
- Sand from the site as texture for the background
- Acrylic paint
- Details with oil pastel

The painting is painted based on the location:

Tvärån in Umeå

The painting “Tvärån” is painted from a small, centrally located river in Umeå. The river flows into the Umeälven, has a high natural value and functions as an ecological and green corridor close to the urban area. The river is mainly home to grayling, but also a small population of pike and sea trout that move up from the Umeälven into the river. There is a rich birdlife around the site, mallards swim daily along the river that I pass every day on my way to and from my studio.

It is this place that I took as my starting point when I painted the painting "Tvärån".
